Blackhawks Top 25 Under 25: Ryan Hartman barrels in at No. 6

You’ve heard comparisons with Andrew Shaw earlier. When it comes to Ryan Hartman, who enters our Top 25 Under 25 list at No. 6 it is difficult to avoid resemblance to a certain former Blackhawk Jersey.

Hartman has been called a shaker since he was elected in the first round of the 2013 NHL Draft, and has not shaken the tag while playing in Rockford in the past two seasons. Fit the same mold as Shaw – a physical pest with enough skill to be a good all-around player – but it’s one thing to look like Shaw, and another to actually play like him. Hartman can be that kind of player in the NHL? He should have the opportunity this season.
